Camden School for Girls referred to on TV

I disappointed to see a girl from "Camden comprehensive" interviewed about work opportunities. She had taken a "management starter" job with Morrisons. Firstly, Camden School is rarely described as comprehensive, although it now is, and was not in any sense, representative of Camden School for Girls.

Camden SG has "disappeared". We would know that the girls who were unlikely to go to University [in the 1960s] because they didnt do Latin, might be set for the Institutes in London -fashion and dress, Librarianship, or even Lucy Clayton. If you weren't going to Oxbridge then maybe one of the "new" Universities founded in the 1960s.were difficult to get to, Sussex in particular.

Another point, if you were "doing" Domestic Science as an A Level you were permitted, is that the word, to go into the Hotel Management trade. Trade, oh dear. We girls were being educated to enter the professions.
I assume the girls entering Morrisons had some knowledge of the A Level in Domestic Science.
